This visit was the best experience I have ever had at CFVMC I had a procedure at the short stay center. From the time I entered and security checked me in to the time I was escorted out everyone was friendly and professional. The security guard got me a wheelchair while I waited for my son to park. The receptionist at Short stay was very friendly and helpful. The staff in preop did everything they could to make me comfortable and informed. I took my son into the Emergency Room for allergies due to pollen that caused him swelling of the eyes. The doctors and staff were very attentive and helpful. There was no long wait, the hospital was very clean and handled my child with care. He was prescribed medication that helped him sleep and control his allergies. Very professional, thank you Cape Fear! Not all hero’s wear capes some wear scrubs. Thank you!
Sorry as hell I sit in the waiting room for 3 hours hurting people come in sit down look like nothing was wrong and they took him to a room im sitting there with a rod sticking out my back and they would not do nothing but make me sit in a waiting room for 3 hours so I left and will get up with my lawyer about this
Cancer Center staff are wonderful and compassionate, the best! I felt like the facility was in need of more space. I ended up having to receive my all-day chemotherapy session in a hallway just outside of an employee only door and an office. This led to a constant flow of traffic of medical staff and cleaning staff. It was not convenient for my chemo nurse and her large rolling cart to have to constantly dodge traffic.
I had an unexpected trip to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center late this past Friday on my way to the DC area. I have seen many hospitals and ERs over the many years, however, I will remember the many good things I experienced that evening while in their care.
