After 30+ years in the community, I recently experienced my first visit to CFV Medical Center as a patient. I came to leave a review and was greeted by a glaring 1-star average. Not my experience at all. I was transferred to the ER from CFV Hoke (on a busy Friday night, no less) and was treated with both care and concern. My partner is bleeding internally and we have been in the waiting room for 6 hours so far
This place is a joke. I expect to have long waits in ERs but to be taken to a hallway bed (after hours wait in the waiting room) to wait for 2 hours without a nurse or provider doing a single check is poor medical care. Only to not be listened to and completely dismissed. I will never come back for this facility to overcharge and pocket $$$ from my insurance. The PAD team was incredibly kind and helpful.
Thankfully Blessed for this great hospital my son had a heart attack yesterday and we felt Blessed to see his wonderful help all staff were pleasant and caring that's a number 1
