We had a wonderful meal tonight. Rich, our server was very good. A keeper! The crabcakes were great and the shrimp and grits delicious! Our friends had the salmon and steak and enjoyed their dinners immensely. Overall a great experience, although the noise level could be better. But....the view made up for it!
Celebrated a friend's birthday. Food was delicious, service was superb and the building is beautiful. Oysters Rock. Were exceptional. Best I've ever had. A real asset to Southport.

I got tile fish with capers and lemon sauce and my tastebuds are dancin' oh yeah Jesse' are too cuz he can't keep his fork out of my plate! Our awesome waiter is Walt!

We had the pleasure last night of dining at Oliver's on the Cape Fear. It was a pleasant surprise and will be a welcome addition to the Southport/Oak Island area. Everything was delicious. The bourbon bread pudding topped with bourbon ice cream and bourbon glaze (note the bourbon theme) was superb. Few can open a new fine dining restaurant and pull it together so quickly. I look forward to our return. Good job Oliver and good luck!
Great view, excellent food in generous portions, fantastic service (ask for Spencer), and cold cider on tap! Oliver's is a must try in Southport!
