Tried to make a follow up appointment with Dr. young (who was amazing). My daughter broke her toe in July and it is now infected. The “assistant” said that they didn’t have any toe nail appointments. When I asked to speak to a triage nurse for care ideas until she can be seen she told me No and then said that I was not allowed to speak…then hung up on me. Maybe she will call me back today.
UPDATE: Initially, I held Dr. Young in high regard, but my post-surgery experience has been disappointing. In September 2023, he recommended a Bunion Lapiplasty (fusion) on my big toe and a 2nd metatarsal shortening on my second toe, despite my reservations about the latter procedure. Although I trusted his expertise based on prior experiences, the surgeries did not alleviate my condition. Don’t waste your time with this office, they are extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked if they took my insurance before booking the appointment they said they did I came to my appointment then they told me they didn’t take my insurance and tried to argue with me that I had said a different insurance over the phone then what I had. No apologies were made, they just tried to tell me I was wrong and there was nothing they could do.
Couldn't be happier with Dr. Young and his whole staff. It took me 7 months thru my previous providers to even just get a consult. With Dr. Young, I had a consult within two weeks and was getting my surgery within a month. He is very thorough, experienced, and easy to understand. He also made himself readily available for any questions or when I just needed to stop in to get re-bandaged. And the staff is always friendly, approachable, easy to call, and fast.
