Do not make the same mistake I did. System is only 1 year old and has been nothing but problems. It has stopped working 4 different times now. The 24/7 availability is a load of crap. On call guy said could have someone out by 830 am so he didn't have to come out at one since my unit kept trying to kick off and on. The unit was blowing out hot air and it was already 80 degrees inside. I get a call from the VERY rude lady who schedules for CFAH and she first makes me pay 79.00 over the phone before she will even schedule..btw... read more

Called Cape Fear after the folks that installed my York AC system with a 10 year warranty wouldn't honor the York warranty. Cape Fear sent a technician to look at the system and confirm the warranty... then they fixed it. Total cost $0.00, versus the $4K the folks that sold me the warranty wanted. I strongly recommend Cape Fear AC for anyone looking for capable and reputabvle AC/Heat services or installation.
When our old system broke beyond repair we went to 3 different companies to get bids on a new system. Cape Fear stood out for several reasons. 1. Andy Harmon, the project manager/salesman was the only one to actually listen to our concerns and include them in his analysis. The other 2 companies had a solution in mind as they walked through the door. 2. I don't usually write too many reviews but I have to after my service. Incredible service!! Had a lot of other repair companies who wanted to over charge and sell me things I didn't need. I promise this will be the BEST call you make. Mr Mitchell was awesome! Highly recommend this company! !!!
