Dirt, old and run down. I didn’t even want to sit on the couch without a towel under me because it was so nasty. I would have gone else where except we checked in late and were tired of driving.
This review is well overdue however I wanted to make sure I finally submitted one. I stayed at Cape Crossing for a night prior to departing on a cruise. I was pleasantly greeted by Ms. Dionne (Dionne like Dionne Warwick as she told me). Very warm welcome with a plethora of information and local recommendations. The property was nice and clean. Ms. Dionne was super friendly and went out of her way for my crew. I just want to make sure she was properly called out and I hope she is made aware of her excellent service.
Great location. Loved sitting outside and seeing the dolphins and pelicans. Most things worked (WiFi was spotty) but the furniture is not comfortable. The couches have hard backs and soft cushions. All of the chairs are padded high chairs, very stylish but impractical for those of us who are no longer so agile. Two of the three bedrooms do not have bedside lights. Recommended but consider the above if you are not so mobile.
Awful. Must be run by hospitality school dropouts. Night 1: Front door to our room was glass with a bright light on the other side. The other windows didn't even have curtains. The room never got dark. Night 2: I bought an eye mask, but the management countered by loudly delivering linens around midnight right outside my window. Night 3: I can't wait to leave this place.
