Great tour. Super interesting and you get to walk around the cranberry bog, taste fresh cranberries, and see the machines they use for harvesting. Highly recomended.
Wrong directions lost alot of time
Great tour with owner - Daniel, who operates the farm for last 40 years. Interesting story about different cranberries sorts, how they grow them, pick them up and how they are sold. They have heirloom native crops ascending from Indians and pilgrims time, and new one. They show how pickup tech improved over last century and how once labor intensive farming transformed into the farm, operated by two people.
We had an amazing tour of the bog from Dave the cranberry farmer!! He is so knowledgeable and we learned so much about cranberry growing and harvesting and history!! Since we went in July during the growing season, the tour was just our family and Dave was really generous with his time and answering all of our questions. Thank you Dave!!
