Canyon State just finished my semi annual service, two heat-pump / AC units. We enjoyed EXCELLENT service from ***********************, This is our 20th year of service from Canyon State Air. On Dec/7/2022 I had schedulled a tune-up with Canyon State of ******** ** . The technician **** lured me into purchasing a unit APCO-X that he stated will remove the dust in the house by 85 % ( which is a false statement as the unit doesn't have that kind of capability to remove dust at 85% as per guide info and as per other similar businesses I have personally called to gather info, also I didn't notice ANY dust reduction in my house since the install ) , not only that but he charged $ **** for the unit and install labor co... read more

Canyon State provided prompt efficient service to *************************. We installed exactly what we said we were going to install, everything was working as it should. We do not advertise this product as a filter, but as a UV air sanitation device. The brochure we left at her house has the info about what the product does. ************************* cancelled the check before ever contacting us. Routine maintenance regularly comes with a need for new parts. I also have a similar plan for my other home. The approach to a need for new parts on my other plan is to explain where you are on the rating scale /life of the piece and often a mention in advance that it is starting to fail. The cost is much lower on my other plan if I do need something. With Canyon State, it's presented as an immediate need, and the parts are priced very high. She was upset because the technician informed her that a capacitor was operating outside of its rated specs, and with her approval the technician replaced it. She was comparing us to a company in ********* for cost. Our technicians job is to inform customers of the condition of there system and make recommendations accordingly. I asked her how we could have handled it differently and she said "we could not, that it was probably just her and we cannot fix her" I'm sorry there ... read more
I would rate this company U+ for completely Unscrupulous. Or possibly G++ for exceptionally Greedy. On July 23rd I had scheduled Canyon State to perform routine maintenance for my home HVAC. I had chosen that company because they have an office here in SCW, and I assumed that I would get a good job for a fair price and I try to support local business.
