Stayed here for about 6 months between 2017/2018 and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short or long term stay in Los Alamos. If I'm ever back in town, I will stay here! The rooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen and stove was solid. It was nice not needing to supply my own pots, pans, and furniture moving to the area for a short amount of time. It's a good place to live as a single person. It's a house with roommates, so as long as you are OK with that, it's pretty good and easy living.
I stayed at Canyon Inn for about 7 months in 2015-2016. The place was extremely comfortable, and I loved the fact that I could just move in with my clothes and pretty much all else was provided. The other guests were very courteous and friendly. I soon found myself becoming good friends with other guests and the landlord. We had some joint cooking/barbeque sessions, house parties, thanksgiving dinner, and other fun stuff.. Best place to stay...... Everything is comfortable. Kitchen is full of utensils. Smiths (grocery shop) is quite near. Rooms are really comfortable.
I have lived here for a year now and the owner is pretty great. She happily fixes any problems that come up and just occasionally pops in to make sure everything is in order.
