Not understanding this: why is there a manned security post, and right next to the park, it's open to everyone? Doesn't that literally defeat the purpose of security gate? Some weirdo can walk into the neighborhood right through the OPEN park gate.

I call the subdivision “Karen Gate”. We have 2 mud taxes & only have trash pick up once a week. We stay for the schools.

I am being fined $250 for entering the exit gate. I drive for uber and hold the highest ranking with them, so my driving is above average based off this stat. I had an order with no gate code nor box for a code. The person receiving delivery didn’t answer either. A car came, opened the gate and waited for it to close. I looked and saw an open gate, and proceeded with my job. Upon the exit of this delivery, someone flagged me down and wrote my plates down, stating I’d be fined. We appreciate all feedback regarding the HOA’s policies and enforcement. However, it is important to clarify that the ongoing requirements imposed by the Canyon Gate HOA are not supported by their own bylaws.
