Friendly, pleasant staff. Although not the most important thing you look for in a dentist, it is reassuring. The dentist himself is calm, compassionate, and explains everything to you all during the procedure. My tooth was out, literally, before I knew it. After 35 years with the same dentist, we had to find a new one, Dr Shin gets our vote and our teeth. If you're searching for a dentist, definitely give this one a try.
Dr. Shin and staff are friendly, caring, efficient, providing the best dental health experience I've had. All procedures are clearly explained so the patient is comfortable and confident.
Dr Brian Shin first of all is an excellent dentist. Highly skilled and technically proficient. Most important,he is a good man. He treats everyone with dignity and respect. He had a funny personality and is nice. Since he moved his practice from Oak Park to Glenn Ellyn it has been more difficult to see him. The extra effort has been worth it.
I’ve never had such an amazing experience at a dental office before. Dr. Shin is super professional and is great at communicating with staff and patients (exactly how it should be)! Staff is also great! There are other dental offices near me but the drive to Glen Ellyn (40 min drive) was worth it!
I was unhappy with my last dentist and was referred to Dr. Shin by a few people. He took time out of his day off to call me back to set up an appointment as a new patient. He also explained things to me and continued to do so during the exam, something my old dentist never did. Everyone in the office is friendly and I don't feel anxiety about going to have work done or cleanings.
I cannot say enough about the outstanding dental care, professionalism, and friendliness of Dr. Shin and his staff. All are second to none! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Shin is an outstanding dentist and an outstanding person. His dental work is excellent. i also enjoy talking about my dental needs now and in the future. He has excellent people skills and a pleasure to interact with. He is genuinely a happy, outgoing person. I feel better just being around him. i would recommend to Dr. Shin to any one needing a top quality dentist.
I have seen many dentists throughout my life, but I first visited Dr. Shin earlier in 2019 for an initial consultation and cleaning. He was thorough, kind and very professional. After the cleaning he showed me some areas of concern and which ones he thought we need attention. Not once was he pushy or telling me things had to be done, it was very matter of fact and let's monitor. Brian really took good care of me. What I thought was a simple tooth extraction turned out to be more complicated and turned into a surgical extraction. Brian took his time and did a really good job. I am writing this the day after the extraction and I don't feel any pain or discomfort. Thanks Brian!
