The team was able to sit my dinner party of 6 relatively quickly without a reservation and the dishes are reasonably priced for a resort. My only complaints are that our server disappeared when we needed them and forgot my ketchup requiring me to ask a few times and my fries were undercooked.
We have been visiting Red Mountain Resort for approximately 20 years and love to stay there when in Southwest Utah. The resort is still good with excellent location and spectacular views. Unfortunately, our meal last night on December 1, 2024 will be our last meal at the Canyon Breeze restaurant. We just celebrated Thanksgiving at this “wellness” restaurant. We were there for the lunch buffet. I have to say it was the absolute worst and most embarrassing experience ever! There were six of us… two adults and 4 young teenagers. Two of us are vegetarian. There were only two options for the vegetarians. The salad was basically lettuce and that is it! For a fixed price Holiday menu the quality of the food was sub-par. The prime rib was a slim cut, vegtables were blanced instead of cooked and the potatos were cold. No horseradish or other condiments, no bread....the $65 was a crime and an automatic 21% tip meant the servers did very little service wise. At $288 bill for three, this dinner was outrageouse in price, one would expect an outstanding meal given was 5 items. Would not recommend this establishment.
We were looking for a new experience for Thanksgiving dinner. We were sorely disappointed in the meal and service recieved. We opted for the plated dinner. The place was not busy yet it felt rushed. The salads came before drinks, the 3 prime rib diners came right after the salad.
