Went there for an outpatient program within the last month. The counselor *in training* (the group’s six counselor in a row in a matter of months) was immature and judgmental. Because I expressed some boundaries in a healthy but firm way, telling him I did not like his ongoing “teasing,” I got called crabby by this male counselor, in front of the other therapy group members. The person that answered the phone when I called to schedule an appointment said they wanted to do a diagnostic assessment. I told them I did not want to do that and that I have an assessment I can provide them. She said that was not an option and contemptively asked why I didn't want to the assessment. I assume because I have a diagnosis of adhd which is a disorder that is treated with controlled stimulants. This review is meant with all good intentions that this will be acknowledged, and hopefully taken into consideration. One bothersome incidence I had was, one of the psychologists had my mental health diagnosis paper work that was given at the beginning of the appointment. However a copy of the report that the psychologist wrote following that appointment had suspicion of what disorders I really had, and thought I was making it up and faking it.
