There is awful-smelling white paint on the inside of the otherwise plain vase - it was peeling off so it looked bad too. My whole kitchen smelled like the paint after I emptied the water; I had to put the vase outside immediately since the smell was so strong. This cannot have been good for the flowers, and it may explain why the roses were droopy-looking. I reached out to them and called them regarding an existing order. I haven't received a response. Are they closed? Are they open? Need an answer for work-related purposes. UPDATE: The flowers were delivered. Wasn't able to get in touch with them but everything worked out.

The flowers did arrive. Late, but at least they arrived. And they were beautiful. The note could improve in quality and the site advertises different things. But it was a needed gift.
DO NOT spend money at this “local” florist. Pay close attention to several things. They don’t have an actual phone number, their shop does not exist at the address provided, the pictures are too commercialized. This place is a sham. They delivered a basic arrangement that was not full even though I paid for the largest bouquet. The vase was completely different. All in all it was a huge disappointment.
