I used to LOVE this place and eat there quite frequently. They were always very sweet and generous, but lately something has changed. The portions are small, the recipes have changed to horrible tasting ones, they give exactly ONE soy sauce packet...even if you order meals for a few people. The egg rolls used to be to die for and now they are nasty, the foo young is mushy and tasteless, the wontons have almost NO filling, the wonton soup is GROSS. Guys, what happened??? Canton Village has amazing Chinese food, the employees are always nice, the food always comes hot, & best of all the prices are great! I've had there Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Beef & Broccoli & all of it was sooo good. They also make the best wantons I've ever had! So don't listen to the bad reviews, I've been getting delivery from them for months & always had a great experience!
I have to admit we were hesitant to try this place when we first moved to the valley, because of all the negative reviews people had posted. After about 2 months of hesitation, we decided to give it a whirl. I'm so glad we did! This is the best Chinese food I've ever tasted! It's always delivered fast and fresh. Our food is always hot!! The worst Chinese food I have ever had! I will never buy this again. the beef and broccoli was not even cooked dry and had no sauce. The fried shrimp had 3 times the breading necessary. The ham fried rice is bland. They give you plenty of food but all of it went in the trash and I cooked my own dinner after paying 15 bucks and a 6 dollar tip for being fast. I am appalled by this food! .
Don't bother there is better Chinese food out there and the service is lousy. The kid that works on Saturday's is not too bright. I literally live within 2,500 feet of the restaurant off the same street the restaurant is located and the kid on the phone could not figure out the directions. Finally had to give up and call different restaurant!
Best Chinese Food in the Valley and its CHEAP! – We've been going to Canton Village for about two years now. By "been going" I mean we order take out about once a week (seriously) and then drive all the way across town from West Valley to Murray past about a hundred other Chinese places to pick it up and then drive all the way home to eat it. Not So Great – We have ordered from here a couple times now. The first time we ordered I had a problem with the eggrolls. They are HUGE and VERY greasy and it was like the inside part of the roll was doughy and weird. I will never eat here again! – I tried Canton Village for the first time and I will never eat there again. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, potstickers, and white rice. The food arrived quickly, and the employees were friendly. This was about the only pleasant part of our experience with Canton Village. Never Again! – I've probably eaten there 10 times. Sometimes the food is really good and other nights it tastes differently. I ordered the sesame chicken and I noticed the cook in the back with a really bad cough. It sounded like he was about to cough up a lung. He didn't cover his mouth.
