We made appointments for 4 of us 2 different dates 3 weeks prior and changed 2 of our appointments times a week prior. Took off work for the appointment because it was during early afternoon and received a phone call from the office an hour before our appointment telling us we need to either cancel our appointment or they can only take one of us for some reason or we would have to wait extra 30 minutes. Disappointing Experience: I regularly visit the dentist and walked into Hudson Oaks Dental and Dr. Allan Lane’s office as a new patent at the six-month mark of my last routine appointment elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. This dental office is predatory and dishonest. I came in for treatment while in significant pain--vulnerable, desperate for relief--and they took full advantage. Instead of billing my insurance, as any reputable provider would, they billed me directly, forcing me to pay out of pocket on the spot. I later discovered that they had overcharged me by more than $2,000. They never made any real attempt to run the charges through my insurance, despite having my policy information. Very nice staff but too pushy on extra procedures. I just want my teeth cleaned twice a year cause my insurance pays for this 100% but, today they wanted $105. Also they still want to put fluoride on your teeth and act like you’re crazy for not wanting a neurotoxin in your mouth. Needless to say, they’re fired
