Should be rated higher! – I cannot believe that Canton Cooks is not rated higher in the Best of Citysearch poll. This is unequivocally the best and most authentic chinese restaurant in Atlanta. Portions are generous and the food is always consistent. Canton Cooks has been recognised as one of the best chinese restaurants in the South! It should be ranked higher in the citysearch poll.

Authentic Chinese! – As soon as you walk into the door you know the food has to be authentic when you hear Cantonese as the predominate languege spoken by most patrons and once you see and taste the food you almost feel like you've magically been transported to Hong Kong. Cantonese style seafood dishes are the specialties at Canton Cooks. The restaurant is small and often crowded, but the food speaks for itself. Latenighters can get their Chow Fun fix since Canton Cooks is open until 2 AM!

Best Chinese in the ATL! – I cannot believe this place is not nominated for best Chinese Restaurant in the 2004 Best of Citysearch poll. This is by far one of the best Cantonese Style Restaurants in the entire South. The food is VERY authentic.

The Best Cantonese in Atlanta – When we heard the former chef of China Cooks had opened Canton Cooks, we had to check it out. We took friends from Hong Kong and they were very impressed with the calibre of the food. This is by far the best Cantonese cuisine in Atlanta. The lobster with Ginger and scallions is superb. I always order the Pacific Clams with seasonal Veggies. The clams are giant and juicy, full of flavor. For latenighters you have to get the Chow Fun; it is the best I have had outside of Hong Kong: I am serious!
