Good food, good beer, good atmosphere . A all around good experience
We sat at the bar for almost an hour and never got a food order in despite asking. All told, we got one drink each while listening to staff complain about it being busy but half the tables were empty and we were alone at the bar for some time. Unfortunate to give a low eating because the beer was good and would've ordered more if they offered.
Beautiful place and the basement bar was fun, but the bar tenders were rude and slow.
We gave the host our phone #, he said 15-20 minutes. He said to go downstairs and grab a drink and would call us when our table was ready. I’m still waiting 24 hours later. No one called. We had one drink and our son played games with another family while we waited. They never got called either. We actually all left together and went to another place to eat.
Scotch eggs, flank steak, goat cheese balls and Cuban pizza! Everything was delicious. This place has a great atmosphere. My favorite beer was the Pilsner. I love the basement too! My only beef is that downstairs there is no table service but it still gets 5 stars. The food is amazing.
