Wouldn't Wish This Vet On Our Enemies! The absolute worst vet we've ever been to! Spent over $500 for a routine checkup & bloodwork. Shaved our cat's beautiful ruff off to do bloodwork! After emptying our pockets, insisted on having our cat come in for a day for "testing". Who knows how much THAT would cost? Then when we wanted to adopt a cat, they spread lies to agencies who called for a vet reference, and we were unable to adopt a rescue cat. Terrible vet I completely agree with the negative reviews here, on google and also on yelp (check them out as well). I only went to this vet a couple of times and couldn't stand him. He and his staff are very RUDE. I never had any problems with his care, but just couldn't stand being a room with him for more then a minute. Worst Experience My experience with Dr. Goldman was awful. Although he treated my pet okay, the interactions with him where horrible. He is arrogant and would often talk down to us. My pet was under his care for a few days and he refused to call for at least 24 hours to even give an update. His prices are completely unreasonable. When I left and shared my pet's medical records with the new vet (including prices), the new vet was shocked on how much he charges.
Life Changing Care I read the previous review which I cant understand. I have never met a more honest or devoted group of people. I make sacrafices for my pets and I don't think that you can get great care at bargain basement prices. I have never felt guilty, but I did express what I wanted, which was excellent care for my animal. I got that and more. Ive been to other vets and Ive seen how easy it is for some to "talk the talk" and not deliver. This doc really walks the walk and loves my pet to boot.
Canton Animal Hospital is the best! I have been bringing my dog to Canton Animal Hospital since we took her home from the breeder. I had already planned on using Dr Goldman based on an article I had read and other referrals, but my breeder (who lives over an hour away) also recommended him because she had heard that he is the "best in the Farmington Valley area." Professional and Knowlegable Goldman and his staff are professional, knowlegable thorough, and honest. They explain your options for care and you make the decision as to whether or not you want to proceed. It is important to me that my vet give me complete information about all options available for treating my pets' conditions while allowing me to decide how I want to proceed. #1 vet in my book To start, I have taken one of my personal pets here and recieved nothing but outstanding guidance and care. I am an animal control officer in CT. and recently found a 5month old pup with a severely injuried rear leg on the streets. This pups injury was very old and he had no use of his rear leg. Just the best!!! We've been using Canton Animal Hospital / Dr. Arnie for quite some time. We recently lost our great furry friend at only 4 years of age and Dr. Arnie and the entire staff went out of their way through the entire process to find answers and more.
