I don't think the food quality and qauntity match the prices. It's not great food and you get very little of it.The crab cake was ok, nothing I would order again, and the shrimp salad tasted like shrimp with a little mayonnaise sprayed on it from a spray bottle. A few small frozen shrimp on the smallest piece of bread I've ever seen. Nice place, not good food. Waterfront prices for TV dinner quality. I've had better seafood at the dinner for less money.
A friend recommended this place. Our first time here. Loved the food and service. We can hardly wait to take another road trip from NJ for these crabs.
My husband and I sat at the bar during happy hour yesterday. Ordered the seared ahi tuna, steamed shrimp, drunkin mussels and steamed clams. Excellent ! Pefect portions at a great happy hour price! Staff working the bar were great!
My husband took me on our first date to Cantlers 13 years ago. It quickly became our go-to seafood restaurant, and now our two boys ask to go there all the time. Their favorite: manos!!:)The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. We ❤️Cantler's Riverside Inn!!
The crabs were big but over cooked. The waitress was phenomenal! She made the long drive worth while! Atmosphere was ok. Went there for the crabs and was hoping they were better...�
Not a bad place if you like really tiny crab cakes . . . . I guess they try to make up for it with the extra hushpuppies . . . . .
Went on a Thursday evening. Very good food and service. Timing is deffinately everything. No wait to park or get seated outside overlooking the water.
Best place to sit and pick crabs. Always worth the trip from NoVa to eat here.
