We have been going to Cantine for a while now and we could not love it more. The Lit burger (and the LBJ which I get) are by far our favorite burger anywhere. I cannot describe how much we love it. It is so simple but SO good. The other food we have tried has always been consistently good. The place itself is very cute and modern. Service is usually prompt, efficient and nice. Picture this- The club music is blasting, people everywhere squished like sardines, the bar absolutely slammed with drink orders. You push your way through the crowd to the bar top and you’re trying to get any staff members attention so you can start drinking but to no avail. Then suddenly, a shining radiant aura makes its way towards you and asks “what can I get for ya” Who could that be? It is Andrew the bartender. I have been here twice, and I’m not sure how I feel about this restaurant. The cocktails are unique. They have a variety of wine. The food has been hit or miss. The brussel sprouts were not cooked, but the fries were good. I cannot comment on a lot of the food. I don’t see me paying $32 for pierogis. I would recommend this place for a cocktail hour. Service is inconsistent. We came in for drinks. I would have liked another glass of wine, but the staff was busy. So I went up to the counter to close my tab.
