I highly recommend staying at the Canopy if you are visiting Portland. The room was gorgeous and the bathroom immaculate. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is great because it is easy to walk to the shops and restaurants on Commercial Street or downtown. Parking is a cost to consider though. The most cost-effective option I found is to get a pass for a few days for the Fish Pier Parking lot that is directly across the hotel. It is $15 for 24 hours (midnight to midnight each day). Catrin is the best bar tender I've ever had.
Katrin in the lobby lounge bar was great. She maid drinks that she thought I would like by what I suggested and they were amazing. Thank you Katrin for making our stay great.
