From the very beginning, working with Canopy was an absolute pleasure! Their team was professional, communicative, and truly committed to building a home that exceeded our expectations. They allowed us to make changes to the home which was music to our ears, since a lot of builder do not allow you to do that. We absolutely love our Canopy house! We initially wanted to build fully custom but ended up buying a spec house and made a few changes to make it our own. The build quality is fantastic and the finishes are great. Whenever we had questions or issues, their team was responsive and we even touched base with one of the owners, Tony, when needed. He was strait forward to work with and explained everything honestly and in detail. Highly recommend!
Canopy did a phenomenal job building our new home. There is nothing we would change. We even experienced a category 3/4 hurricane with sustained 110+ mph winds and not even shingle or anything else was out of place afterwards. True craftsmanship!
They seem to specialize in building identical McMansions for transplants with high-paying remote jobs, who move in with their goldendoodles and Range Rovers—driving up the cost of living for lifelong residents. As someone who’s rented in the area for five years, I’ve just about given up on the idea of ever affording a home in this neighborhood. Unfortunately, $1–2 million is well beyond my budget.
