Love the place!!!! One of the most scenic places I have been to, and the staff is as good as the scenery. The river, as long as it is 4.4'+ is absolutely wonderful. Lower still means fun, just not quite as fast.. Wide variety of distances to take, which means fun for all types of boaters..
We have our own canoe and kayak. Riverside canoe outfitters down the road would not let us put in or leave a vehicle. We called canoe country and the said sure. When we asked for the price to leave a vehicle and to put in the told us not a dime. Really nice people there definitely recommend people to use them.
The staff was excellent, the price was cheap, and the ending of your trips ends right where you paid making leaving hassle free! I plan on going back again very soon!
Our favorite place to go kids love it very relaxing and calm. We have a good time very time we go canoeing.
Went kayaking there twice now. I was the only one on the river and enjoyed it. Plan on going again. It's ashamed that certain people want to take this from us.
