I cannot say enough about Dr Magnuson and her staff. I was going to put my Zoe down about a month or so ago. She prescribed different doses of meds along with a whole new protocol and my 15 year old shih tzu is like a new pup. She's eating better than ever and is barking running and playing. I cannot speak more highly of the team that works here. I originally sought them out due to having parrots and it being rather difficult to find vets that specialize in avian. However, I have a rescue dog now that has been plagued with multiple medical problems over the past year. Their kindness and compassion is unmatched. They truly care about what they do and it shows. My wonderful bunny Mia passed away unexpectedly tonight. The first people I thought of was Canobie Lake Vet and Dr.Magnuson. Mia had been to CLV many times, when he was not in good condition and Dr.Magnuson saved his life on more than one occasion. I am forever grateful for the extra months he had with me because of you all. Thank you❤️
We brought Lola (rabbit)in on Monday since she was not feeling well and not acting herself. I could not afford X-rays in addition to treatment and the doctor worked with me on a treatment plan. The staff was compassionate and I felt no judgement. Lola fought for 4 days but unfortunately did not pull through. I would recommend this vet for exotics as they seemed very knowledgeable and they were recommended by my current vet. I just wish we made it there sooner for Lola’s sake. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE this vet. My ferret was admitted into the emergency hospital yesterday (she’s perfectly okay and back to normal now) and the doctor consulted with the vet at Canobie lake because they are more used to ferrets. Then today they called to check on my ferret and see if I had any questions or concerns. They truly go above and beyond.
