Everything is ok, but the only issue is, they do not answer their phone lines locally and that represents an issue for my parents. They are not tech savvy at all and when you call, the far away rep wants you to give all the story why you are calling, then that transfer you and you have to give the while dam story again,by that time is already a good 30 minutes wasted. I've been going to Center Well in Edinburg for 1 1/2 years. And you rarely see the main doctor. That's why they have the Physician Assistant. And it's like that everywhere. So patients that are complaining about not seeing doctors live in the past.
My mother has been a patient at this clinic for quite some time, and although our experience was somewhat mixed in the beginning, I am very happy to say that the quality of her care has improved significantly. The staff has consistently been friendly, attentive, patient, and caring toward my mother. This is especially noticeable when she needs blood work or additional testing, as they take their time with her and make an effort to keep her comfortable. We've been going to the clinic for several months now and have yet to see an actual doctor. Nurse practitioners seem to run the place. We were told we would have the same doctor all of the time but according to one of the nurses they rotate the doctors in and out. If you actually were to see one it may be a different one the next time you come. We were hoping to have a relationship with one specific doctor but that doesn't seem to be the way they work.
