I absolutely love Canine Body and Mind! They have helped my dog Jovie overcome her fear of being groomed and her fear of the vet. We have started receiving vet care from Dr. Belock and Jovie does not even realize she is at the vet she loves going so much. She gets excited she cannot wait until she goes inside. They have also helped her with her manners and helped her get her cgc. She does not turn two until end of February. I am excited to see how they continue to help Jovie become the best doggy she can become. We also do d... read more

A top of the line experience for vet appointments! Dr. Belock used a calm and positive approach to address the vaccines needed for my dog who dislikes being touched by strangers. We had a successful vet visit and will be back for further training opportunities and visits.

My dog had developed behavioral issues “out of nowhere” and turned into having this Jekyll and Hyde personality. After two years of just accepting it because I couldn’t figure out what to do, I found Canine Body & Mind after my dog escalated and started biting when he was having his outbursts. I have taken my lab Benelli to Canine Body and Mind since she was a puppy. We have thoroughly enjoyed every class we've taken. Their fear free and positive approach makes for a great environment for both you and your dog to learn in. Benelli and I especially love Lindsay, one of the many fine trainers at this establishment. We have taken many of her classes which allowed Benelli to earn her CGC and Trick Dog Novice titles. She is currently working on her Trick Dog Intermediate title. I highly recommend!

Before we came to Dr. Belock, our dog needed to be fully sedated for nail trims and became aggressive with any basic husbandry task or vet procedure. After 4 months of weekly (sometimes bi weekly) private lessons, I am able to trim his nails at home with no sedation. I can also brush and provide other care as needed. We are continuing to work toward preparing for blood draws and vaccinations. In addition to cooperative care training, Dr Belock has mixed in fun and we are working toward our 2nd level of trick dog training. Pa... read more
