What a great experience! Stopped in today and the owner greeted me upon entering and thankedme for coming. I purchased several toffees and a couple of muffins, brought it all home and everyone enjoyed the treats so much. If I had known they served lunch I sure would have eaten lunch there instead of where I had lunch. This is a MUST visit place in Donaldsonville. I was sold a pistachio muffin and a double chocolate muffin today that were hard and dry! This is the first time in as new to the area. Always pass by on way to usps. Got our muffins to go - wish I would had checked them before leaving! They looked delicious... but found out they were old, hard and stale. Nasty. Don't know if maybe their muffin case isn't airtight, or maybe they should plastic wrap these? I recommend they check the food they sale. This is a fantastic local gem. Great coffee and food, and fantastic sweet treats. The owner is extremely welcoming and kind. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area.
