I called Candyland in Stillwater, MN one day last fall to inquire if they had Peppermint Salt Water Taffy in stock. They told me they had some and I told them I would be stopping that day to purchase some from them. I live in South St. Paul so Stillwater is a bit of a drive from my home. Anyway, I drove to CandyLand and they said they didn't have any in stock when I arrived. The store owners are awesome and so knowledgeable about the history of the store and surrounding community they are more than willing to tell you if you have the time she interested.you get a real sense of belonging to something bigger.

Walking into Candyland on Wabasha is a bit like experiencing nirvana. So much for the eyes to take in. Tasty treats as far as you can see. I also love the candy pushers... I mean the employees. They are friendly and helpful. I love stopping here on my way to a party or out of town to pick up gifts that cannot be resisted.
