If I could have given a zero , I would have. I made a reservation in May for an August wedding! Last week, they cancelled my reservation due to damage to a part of the hotel. Not the whole place! I would have thought the reservation would be honored and just given me another room!!

Due to a tornado that ripped through Bemidji a week and a half earlier, we were unable to stay at this location however, when we pulled into the parking lot, we were met by Ryan. Ryan confused to see us greeted us at the front door and explained that the hotel had been destroyed in a weather event. Ryan went out of his way to recommend a competing hotel where me and my family could stay the night. We immediately contacted IHG to try to resolve the problem. Room was awesome. Cooktop, Dishwasher and all cooking and eating utensils in the room including a full size fridge.

There are only two hotels in the area, and I stayed at one that had a room with a kitchen. The customer service was hit or miss; at times, I encountered staff who were helpful, while other times, I was attended to by an older lady who seemed disinterested in assisting. I had to request a room refresh twice before it was taken care of. Additionally, I was frustrated by the loud TV in the outdoor grill area, which continued to play until early morning.
