I was lucky enough to have Dr. Walker on duty when I was transferred to the hospital for my delivery. She kept me motivated during those final stages and had the best personality. I had full confidence in her though we had just met. 10/10!
Hate to be the bear of bad news, but my wife and I did not have a good experience with Doctor Walker. I agree with everyone about how nice she is, but beyond that it has been a nightmare. After going in for a biopsy procedure, which started 3 hours late the doctor did not explain to me what side affects my wife might have. We then received little to no discharge instructions and never heard back from the Doctors office for 3 days. Dr. Walker has delivered both of my boys and she is wonderful. She has always taken time with me and listened to all my concerns and questions and addressed them. She has never made me feel like I’m dumb or paranoid for being concerned about something. she always makes me feel heard and understands that a woman knows her own body best. Both my birth experiences were absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful to her and her staff for that.
I LOVE Dr. Candice Walker. She helped me deliver a perfect baby boy last year, and we are working to deliver another little guy this year. She is intelligent, compassionate, great to be around, and her staff falls nothing short of this as well. I cannot reccomed her OB services more enthusiastically - Dr. Walker is the best of the best.
It took two months to schedule a well visit when they could see me. I got a babysitter for my kids and arrived 10 minutes early per their request. Had to wait 45 minutes and still wasn’t seen. They said if the doctor saw me I’d have to still wait in the room and there was a woman ahead of me. I had to leave by this point because they wouldn’t be done by the time I needed to leave. Never once did the receptionist apologize. Instead she acted like it was my fault that I had other obligations...even though they have a sign post... read more
