I was recently referred to CCMG for treatment for lung cancer. Everything was going fine until I was doing my registration. They received the paperwork and images from the referring physician. When I was doing my registration, I gave them my wife as the emergency contact. She had a disagreement with them a couple of years earlier, and she can be a bit much when she is sick and not getting better. Sat in waiting room a hour and a half before I started treatment. Said they were behind if I was that late coming I would have to reschedule but it's ok for them if I could have got my copay back i would have left make no sense.
My experience with the Cancer Center of Middle Georgia was extremely disappointing, largely due to ongoing issues with time management, staffing, and overall professionalism. Appointments were consistently delayed with little to no explanation, often resulting in long wait times that added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. This place has the worst customer service staff I have ever seen, being they are working with patients who are going through hard times. Extremely RUDE staff. The front desk staff and other staff needs to be retrained on how to be professional and knowledgeable of the business.
