I do not have a complaint about the staff or doctors at this facility. This is about St Luke’s. Run as fast as you can from this organization. For most of us that have to use the Cancer Center it’s a trying and hard time. Last thing we need is for a facility to care less and price gouge. If you go to this facility st Luke’s adds a facility charge onto your bill. The legislature in Texas has attempted to address these excessive charges by passing. Highly recommend the treatment center. I had to get some iron transfusions and Nurse Elisa was amazing! She is one of the kindest nurses I’ve met and was so gentle with everything. She makes you feel as comfortable as you can possibly be in a room with other people getting treated.
Highly recommend this Treatment Center. Recently completed radiation treatments with Dr. Garlitos; he is among the best of doctors. He’s very personable, pleasant, low key, and has a sense of humor. He responds to problems, questions, etc.; strives to help the patient; has good ideas/solutions. I also enjoyed each OV with him! I highly recommend him. ALL of the staff is also the greatest. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone I care about. Dr. Pant, who was my wife's oncologist, has no kind of bedside manner. After insisting that we contact the center should she have to go to the ER, we'd made calls on TWO different occasions. Never got a call back to this day. Instead of sticking with the plan we'd made at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Dr. Pant arbitrarily decided to make the decision to increase my wife's chemotherapy from 3 to 6 months.
