I swore I'd never write a good review for lvhn, and then I started getting my infusions at the oaks cancer center. The nurses there are amazing. And the rooms are absolutely the opposite of what I expected. Single room, tv, heated massage chair, a snack/drink menu, and a little view of the courtyard but they won me over when they actually talked to you like a person! They remember your name and inquire about something from the last visit. It's like they genuinely care! It's so nice that you forget you're at an lvhn!!
I used to go to the infusion center at Bangor but since they’ve relocated to Hecktown, the nurses are the same but the experience is much more comfortable for me. There are more private rooms and TVs and is overall more welcoming center-especially if you are someone like me who receives longer infusions
Worst Emergency Room I've Ever Been Too. Won't be coming back to them again ever. Had a Dr. Jose who completely refused to stitch up my 6 yr old son. I just simply asked if there was a plastic surgeon that could do it and he said no but since you went down that path I dont feel comfortable doing it anymore. Even after we asked him multiple times he still wouldn't do it. Its just stitches and we were asking a question.
