Great Customer Service – I had an excellant experience at Canby Transmission when I had to have my transmission rebuilt. The front office guys (especially Hal) were friendly and quick to answer all my questions and explained in detail what was wrong with my SUV. I really appreciated the free estimate and how nice everyone was to my three children while we waited. Rude Owner, Lousy costumer service, NOT RECOMMENDED – On september 11th, my sister and I went to Canby Transmission to get her car checked out (for free) because it was making a nasty sound. We just wanted to know what was wrong with it. So my sister gave the guy at the front desk her keys and he drove it around back. Then the guy that had checked it out came to the front and told the other guy that it is leaking from the axle housing and one of the bearings inside is bad, so it would need an overhaul.
