Hi. Beware that AT&T doesn't work in their rooms.And neither does their WiFi work consistently. When called to move rooms they claimed they called me back but my call log doesn't reflect it and there was no voicemail. Further Hayden and Edwin at the front desk were unhelpful and refused to send up tech support. Maybe they don't have it. They wanted me to come down despite acknowledging they have no technical know how. Didn't offer any help at all or support for the inconvenience. Kimpton Canary in Santa Barbara is at a wonderful location and the staff is warm and friendly. We chose the studio suite, while the rooms were beautiful, the big downer were the bed and pillows. Pillows are really thin and the mattress uncomfortable. So don’t expect any restful sleep. Another downer were the bath towels, they were cleaned but had stains from previous uses…gosh did not expect this from a 4 star hotel! We requested another set of bath towels and were promptly given new sheets but it was just awful to see stain... read more

Great hotel and even better service. Edwin, one of the hotel managers, and his team do a great job taking care of you while you’re here. The location is amazing, just a few steps away from all the shops and restaurants that you want to go to in SB. The gym they partnered with is accessible 24 hours and has all the weight equipment you would find at a gym - unlike most hotel gyms. Highly recommend!
