Great hotel! The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Staff is very welcoming. I will stay there everytime I am in Santa Barbara. Can't wait to use the pool on my next visit.

The hotel is located in Downtown Santa Barbara and is just a block away from State Street, one of the outdoor shopping and restaurant areas. Originally built in 1924, this boutique gem was once a schoolhouse. The preservation of its original Spanish colonial architectural details, including its terra-cotta tiles, grand staircases and wrought-iron balconies, are part of what makes this hotel so unique. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Front desk, housekeeping and valet staff are top notch. Area is safe. You can walk everywhere.
