Really nice modern bldg and parking lot.
Overall, most services I’ve used at this VA have been good, which is the main reason this is not a 1 star review. This review is specifically about primary care, because when you need primary care, you really need them to be responsive and willing to help. Recently, I’ve had concerns downplayed or redirected in ways that later led to ER visits. One example was an abscess that progressed and eventually let loose requiring emergency care. Called there about an old friend secretary patches me over to the nursing home I got the nastiest guy who handles emergency calls started yelling I couldn't believe it he was nasty it was may 13th at 6:10 pm whoever works that time needs to be fired.

I had a very frustrating experience dealing with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs office in Canandaigua. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a long, stressful ordeal. I have been dealing with them for the past two years and have gotten absolutely nowhere.
