Went here for a co-workers retirement party! Excellent food! Had the salmon, it was perfect!
What a quiet Jem! One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in!
My husband and I went there after hearing very good things about the restaurant. I must say that the food was delicious! Everything was cooked perfect with good portions. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive and courteous.
A must stop spot for me when I visit upstate from FL. I haven't found another locally owned restaurant that is as great as Cannel Side

In nearly 20 years of regularly eating at Canal Side I have never been disappointed, but always delighted! One of the best ever...from NYC to Seattle, from Charleston (SC) to Sacramento, from Chicago to St. Louis, as well as Philadelphia and Boston (places we regularly travel to)...I've not had better.
Great French and American cuisine (great sauces).Excellent hostess and wait staff in nicely accented surroundings. Of course owner-chef "James" is the highlight with his fine dishes.
