Sharon and Carl are pros. They’ve been cutting hair for decades and know all the professional tools: hot towels, straight razor, bad jokes, and — above all — super friendly service. Old school: call for an appointment but they will always do their best to squeeze you in. If you’re a tourist in New Orleans, this is an easy, no-brainer walkable spot to get a clean up.

Been here twice, I LOVE THE HAIRCUT, I LOVE MS. SHARON she is very highly experienced. Price is very affordable. Will always go here not anywhere else.

The reviews are true to their words. I went there Friday morning without appointment and Ms. Sharon is available and she sits me down and cut my hair right away. She is very warm and friendly but of course the most important thing is she’s highly experienced I bet plenty of years of experience (i haven’t ask). She is the owner of the place. We have a nice chat while she is cutting my hair professionally and I’m loving the results and she did it all fast and on point. She will ask and listen to how do we want our hair done. Sharon at the Decatur Barbershop did an excellent job of cutting my hair just as I asked. Great conversation and vibe in the shop. I will be going back!
