My disabled mother in law has been living in her apartment without air conditioning during an extreme heat wave for a month. FRANK and JASON both have lied to her face claiming that someone will be out to fix it several times and nobody ever comes. Jason offered to put a portable air conditioner in, BUT it would be placed in the patio door using cardboard as insulation- a fire and safety hazard. I am extremely disappointed with the management at Canal House Apartments. During one of the worst heat waves we’ve experienced temperatures topping 100°F, multiple residents have been left without working air conditioning for far too long. LONG MEANING MONTHS What makes this even more concerning is that this building is home to disabled residents who rely on air conditioning not just for comfort, but for their health and safety. If I could leave a - stars a I would the absolute worst place to live, worse landlord and maintenance to deal with. You call & if you even get an answer .say you need something fixed chuck “maintenance guy” office manager answer and will flat out say I don’t know why your calling me. I don’t know what you want me to do. They will not allow you to transfer apartments even though all you do is pay a fee. D2 is the worst apartment in the complex. They have mice really bad total of 11 within the past couple of months have been caught. Maintenance doesn’t really do anything that works besides put down traps and bait. We had to literally tell them to find the hole and seal it. The exterminator came a couple times and did the same each time sprayed dust and put bait. They have not gotten rid of the problem and we will be moving. If you like mice then it’s the perfect place.

My sister gave a deposit after being told if she decided not to take the apt that she would be refunded everything but 75 dollars! When she decided not to take the apt she called about her deposit and was told they will see what they can do! They were very unprofessional and began to screen her calls and not answer! Please do your research before dropping a deposit! If i like give 0 stars i would!
