RecommendedThe owner & staff are very helpful. My husband & I camped there during Old Canal Days last year & we plan on doing it again this year. ( we had a blast !!!)
Recommendedeasy to rent a canoe or kayak and lots of variety of of trip lengths, really enjoyed the night cruising which I've not noticed offered at other liveries.
RecommendedI see no recent reviews other than 3 years ago and well I can say from my experience the place was just fine. They had two kayaks left ona busy holiday didn’t have to wait for anything. Friendly staff.
Had a great time. Very peaceful. They need more than one window running. Waited an hour for a canoe. Then a half hour to get our ID back. There was a line the entire time. One or two more service windows would work a lot better. I'll go to Mohican for less of a wait and a more crowded river. This is crazy having to wait like this.
Called ahead and was told by staff they would hold tubes for us for an hour! We rushed over in 30 minutes and they gave our "reserved" tubes away to someone else! What a waste of running all around and a huge disappointment to our kids! Never again! Very disappointed! You just lost 8 customers!
We showed up less than an hr after they opened, waited in line for an hr with about 10 others only to finally get up to the window to find out they were out of kayaks :( The employees were rude and didn't seem like they had any idea how to operate a business. I will never come back and will recommend that everyone else do the same.
Had a great weekend with our Boy Scout Troop! Thanks for everything, and thanks Don for sticking around to wait for us!
Terrible and unfriendly service. Pulled a bait and switch between our phone call and arrival. Two of the three workers were rude.
