I would never rent a property from Tim Canady. My boyfriend and I recently went to tour one of the rental properties he manages and he was incredibly rude and disrespectful to us. We brought our own real estate agent with us to help us with the process and upon walking into the rental, we were not greeted by Tim. He was on his phone, barely looked up at us and told us to go ahead and view the house. Im not sure if he was irritated we also brought our agent or if he was judging us based on looks/age. Great guy to work with. We were his tenants for two years and never had a problem. Every time we had something break, he would have someone out there the next day. He was very fair with the security deposit and the overall moving out process. 10/10 management.
My first experience with this bloated, greasy slimy pig was as a tenant years ago. Now, as a full time real estate investor and former realtor, I offer this advice to those who feel cheated by his scummy practices: - file a complaint with the NC real estate commission. It’s super easy and can be done online. The NC real estate commission will investigate; they probably won’t do anything but he’ll be annoyed and still have to fill out paperwork.
