I had the worst experience ever with maintenance service at this Canadian Tire location. It was my first time going there for a basic oil change — and definitely my last. I had booked an appointment in advance for 9:30 a.m. and arrived around 9:10 a.m. When I approached the service desk, the staff member didn’t even greet me — just looked at his computer and said, “Yes, what do you want?” in a rude tone. Had an oil change, it typically costs $65 (the last two years) at this location (2023) and the Canadian tire at st Clair and Weston rd (2024) This is PARTIALLY my fault for not asking about the price ahead of time, but when I picked up they stuck me with a $127 bill. Luckily I had the last two years’ oil change receipts and asked why they used synthetic oil ($50 more than the conventional oil) Every time I’ve ever had an oil change THEY ask me what kind I want, my car is old and I go conventional. I went there to do my seasonal tire change. Extremely expensive, almost double the amount my dealership charged me. Also, what’s the point of appointments, if I have to drop off my car and come back later in the day.
