I was a high-level skier through high school years but when I went to college and then entered the workforce I had other priorities after I was married I decided to take up skiing again but my wife didn’t like the cold, hated getting wet and cold… And didn’t like heights… If I wanted to go skiing I had to find somebody to ski with. I joined the Canadian Ski Patrol in 1991 and never looked back…They are an outstanding volunteer first aid and rescue organization that does outstanding things in our community. Highly recommended
An awesome non-profit! Not only do they provide advanced first aid and rescue to our local mountains, but they also provide volunteer advanced first aid to summer events!
Rewarding experience. Great people.
I have been on the patrol since 2004. The people I have met have become friends for life. Its one big family.
