I've been coming up to Canadian Lakes for over 35 years now - my entire life!! I have so many memories of my time spent here, like the riding stables, scoops pizza, afternoons on the lake, and winter walks in the woods. Coincidentally, my husband also spent a great deal of his childhood in Canadian Lakes! Now, we get to share Canadian Lakes with our daughter, and create new memories!! It's the best!!!
Love the summers, water, and all the other activities. Everyone is super friendly. We recently bought cottage on the main lake that we rent out during the summer. Plenty of fishing (Lake, Ice, Fly), boating, river and lake kayaking, hunting, golf, ... Still many activities we haven't even discovered, yet. Love it.
Beautiful. There are numerous cottages to rent. Swimming, boating, we caught fish almost every cast. Close to Mt Pleasant(casino). Plenty of stores and restaurants.
It's a nice area, but should make some changes to some of the rules on the lake. For us wakeboarders or skiers, we hardly get a chance to go out on the lake because the lakes way too busy and dangerous during the day to ride, plus with a 6 pm no wake time, us wakeboarders and skiers can't get a chance to ride when it's calm!
