I visited the Newmarket location on August 05th and i was welcomed by a friendly Receptionist he showed me to a hearing aid specialist on site (Tommy)that gave me excellent counselling. Without an appointment. I would go there again and I recommend this hearing Loss office, which was very clean and bright.
Avoid. I drove my mother in for a free hearing test, and to discuss new hearing aids. The person volunteered to try adjusting her current ones, but as soon as we returned home, they began to whistle. My mother had to put up with that for months until she was able to return to have them adjusted. When a different person readjusted them, still not right, she said that there would be a $75 charge due to "policy", to fix their own mistake.
👎👎👎My husband has hearing lost and he’s a newcomer to Canada. He doesn’t know English and needs special hearing service but Canadian Hearing Services doesn’t have any international supportive counselors to help him. I have a deaf friend who doesn’t know sign language and her case manager is oral deaf . She has to wait for each appointment almost 2 weeks for caseworker’s interpreter even for emergency concerns.
