I have had nothing but good experiences here. About 10 years ago I attempted to donate blood out in British Columbia and had a bad experience. I didn’t try again for 10 years. I’m glad I tried again here, and like I said I have had nothing but nice experiences here. Going for my 4th donation soon. Keep it up!
Today I went to donate blood, but chose not to as was disgusted with what I saw. The Canadian flag was removed, and replaced with a political flag instead. I will not support organizations which are anti Canadian. Gross.
I made a last minute decision after work to donate blood for the first time. Everything ran smoothly, they checked me in, I was triaged in a separate/private room, filled out a questionnaire and then was directed over to the donation chairs/TV area. There is where I had a very kind woman come over, explain everything as she did it, one poke and she got my vein, i got some juice and a snack.
