I did not have a good night sleep. I started off my stay relaxing on the bed and reading a book. In a short time I noticed a moldy / musty smell. When I smelled the pillows, they didn't smell good (but like body odor), but it wasn't the bad smell that I noticed. The smell seemed to come from the bathroom. The sheets and pillow cases all had stains. Everything was stained. Be it bodily fluid yellow, red, or mascara stains. The top of the toilet seat was not cleaned. It was dusty and had human hair scattered over it. The woman at the front desk claimed I asked for my checkout to be Sunday. This was not true. I work on Tuesday. It’s a long weekend. I usually like staying here because it’s inexpensive, clean and fairly comfortable… the only downside is that the housekeepers are very rude and don’t respect the 11am checkout time. I was travelling and arrived into Prince George very late, so I didn’t check in until almost 1am… Tell me why these housekeepers came knocking on my door at 9am??? Two hours before checkout time??? Not only that, they continued to knock again at 10am and AGAIN at 10:30am…. very disrespectful in my opinion. Yeah, it may be cheap to stay here but ... read more
