I drive 25 minutes to get to Cana and then an hour to get to where my horse is. I have called before and placed an order over the phone and picked it up later because not everyone can make it to the 2 days and only 3-4 hours they are open. I called to place an order and was told I could not do that and so I asked the lady "So you're telling me I can't get hay for my horse?" to which she replied yes. Placed an order at the beginning of the week for 20 bales was assured it would be delivered on Friday, got a call Thursday to confirm delivery. Friday came and nothing was delivered. called and was told my invoice was left on the desk and they were now unable to deliver till monday when I have horses arriving early Saturday morning. Now I'm having to scramble to find someone to deliver by tomorrow morning before my horses arrive. I will never buy hay from Cana Land & Farm ever again... I called and they said they had a nice 2nd cut Timothy Orchard mix. Drove over 2 hours there and the hay was like straw... yellow and coarse... no way it's 2nd cut. I was out of hay so I had to buy some 😡
I have purchased hay twice and it is the most beautiful, consistent quality hay I have ever seen. I will gladly continue to drive almost two hours to purchase hay from Cana Land and Farm. Could not recommend more!!
