Bad apartment and management My boyfriend and I lived in the "Barrister" building his 2cnd year of business school. The apartment had lots of problems- leaks, noise (no sound insulation between apartments so you heard everything), sometimes mice and bugs- and the Campus Rentals people were unfriendly and unhelpful every time we tried to get help. The tall wierd man, Thomas Stegeman, who seemed to be the owner seemed openly hostile; the other lady Sally (maybe his wife?) was nicer but not much.
Campus Realty/Triangle Towing Scam Avoid parking at any Campus Realty-owned parking lot! I purchased a pass for their 520 S Forest parking lot, and placed it inside my car on the back window as instructed. 5 days later I went to use my car, and found out that it had been towed. After informing the towing company on the phone that I was parked there legally and had the pass in my back window, I headed to their office. When I got there and inspected my car, I found 3/4 of the parking pass had been ripped out from the INSIDE of... read more
Bad Management Campus Realty has many apartments for renters to choose from. Their apartment are mostly around the campus of University of Michigan. However, their mangement is terrible. They always charge unexpected fee. Even though they provide free internet, the speed is extremely slow that you would like to pay and connected a new line for yourself. Not recommended!

Campus Realty: John & Lois Stegeman's Towing Scam – Triangle Towing owners Scott and Laura Snuvernick and Campus Realty owners John and Lois Stegeman have an illegal towing scam at 520 South Forest Avenue in Ann Arbor Michigan. Michigan laws says signs have to be posted and prominently displayed at designated vehicular access points. This is a large parking lot with no signs.
