I revived my deposit today. I was charged for them to repaint the property and replace smoke detectors. I believe this is part of regular maintenance. They only came twice to replace furnace filters and test smoke alarms in the 2 years we were there. It was never stated in my lease that I was responsible to repaint the unit or replace the smoke detectors. The smoke detectors were removed from the wall but they were left I the unit to be put back up. They also told me they would repaint the property anyways after we moved out... read more
